Nursing Exam Bestie LLC is an independent nursing-education company based in Alexandria, Virginia. We make the books, cheat sheets, and practice questions that help nursing students and working nurses pass the NCLEX and nursing certification exams — created by a registered nurse, written in plain language, and checked against the official exam blueprints.
Nursing Exam Bestie LLC was founded in 2026 by a registered nurse who writes and teaches under the pen name Nurse Cheaty. After years at the bedside, our founder kept hearing the same thing from students and new nurses: the big review books were accurate, but they were written in a way that made hard topics feel even harder. We started this company to fix that — exam prep that teaches the way a good preceptor does, in simple words, with a sense of humor, and with the traps pointed out before the exam springs them on you.
Everything we publish starts from the official test plans and handbooks issued by the certifying bodies themselves. Our practice questions are written in-house, then audited item by item against those blueprints, so what you practice matches what the exam actually covers — at the level a nurse is really expected to practice, not above it. When a question does not meet that standard, it does not ship. Being a reliable company matters more to us than being a fast one.
